Rugby Players Ireland is represented by an executive committee comprising representatives of our professional squads. These include our Chairperson, Peter O’Mahony, Enya Breen (Women’s XVs), Billy Dardis (Men’s 7s), Dave Heffernan (Connacht Rugby), Iain Henderson (Ulster Rugby), Amee-Leigh Murphy Crowe (Women’s 7s), Garry Ringrose (Leinster Rugby) in addition to non-p;aying expertise fulfilled by Maura Quinn, Ciarán Medlar, Peter McKennan and Rugby Players Ireland CEO Simon Keogh.

In 2021 Peter was appointed Chairperson following Rob Kearney’s eight-year tenure. Before them, Johnny Sexton, Brian O’Driscoll, Marcus Horan and Mark McHugh all held the role.

Within its constitution, Rugby Players Ireland affords all of its paying members an opportunity to vote for their respective provincial representatives on the Executive Board. The Rugby Players Ireland Constitution also sets out the obligations of the Board, including the minimum requirement of three executive Board meetings per year.
