Past Player Alumni

IRUPA established The Clubhouse to keep past professional players connected to their rugby network both socially and from a support perspective. Often when players retire there is a disconnection from their team environment, which is quite often the main social network in their lives.

The Clubhouse endeavors to preserve this connection through its events programme. Furthermore, it supplies personal and professional development services to support its members following their transition from professional rugby. Through our Player Development Programme the Alumni members will be able to take advantage of all the services available to the current player, many of which are provided by partners of IRUPA. Such services include workshops, further education programmes, scholarships and the creation of job opportunities.

The IRUPA Past Player Alumni reconnects past players with their former team mates and provides them with an opportunity not only interact on a social level but also from a networking perspective through the various IRUPA events held over the course of the year.
